The City of Pittsfield retained Grande Venues, Inc. to conduct an Arts Assessment for the development of the Zoe Theater in Pittsfield, Illinois, a Main Street America community.
GVI conducted the assessment in the spring of 2005 and is continuing work with local partners to develop the theater properties.
Phase I involves the acquisition and restoration of the 1952 Art Deco movie theater. GVI, as developer, will issue RFP's for qualified movie theater operators.
Phase II involves new construction of a two-story 200 seat performing arts annex for the local Theater group.
Tasks involve the creation of a limited liability company and board development for the existing not for profit "tentant" who will occupy the performing arts annex. |
